basedandbiased: Here?s The Story of the Twitter Hero Who Single-Handedly Killed Zimmerman Juror...

A lot has been made about the controversial Zimmerman Trial Juror B37. First she appeared on Anderson Cooper and made comments?expressing sympathy and support for Zimmerman. But she really sparked an outrage by announcing ? fewer than 48 hours after George Zimmerman was declared Not Guilty ? that she?d signed a book deal.

Well, one passionate person on Twitter who goes by @MoreandAgain took things into her own hands.

NBA Trade Rumors: Latest Chatter Surrounding Rajon Rondo and More

The first few weeks of the 2013 NBA offseason has been highlighted by a number of big-time trades, but that doesn?t mean that everything will remain quiet from here on out.

On the contrary, it seems that there are even more deals in the oven and a handful of those could be pushed through in the coming weeks.

Let?s take a look at the latest buzz on the various trade talk happening throughout the league in Tuesday?s rumor roundup.

?

Pistons Eyeing Rondo

The Detroit Pistons are looking to contend again soon, as evidenced by the marquee signing of Josh Smith this summer.

One of the ways they could jump-start that ascension back to the top of the Eastern Conference ranks is to acquire superstar Rajon Rondo from the Boston Celtics.

According to Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe, Detroit president Joe Dumars is interested in the mercurial point guard but can?t seem to find a suitable package of talent and draft picks to offer his Boston counterpart, Danny Ainge.

Washburn notes that the C?s would likely ask for up-and-coming center Andre Drummond, who had a solid rookie year before getting injured in 2012-13.

Given that the Pistons would just like to jettison guard Brandon Knight and an expiring contract from the Motor City in exchange for Rondo, it?s hard to see how the two sides could come to terms.

Unless Detroit can find a way to acquire a first-round pick or two in the near future, this potential transaction may never get off the ground.

Spurs Have Chance to Sign-and-Trade

Over the past four seasons, the San Antonio Spurs and DeJuan Blair have had a tenuous relationship at best.

Now that the big man has hit free agency, it seems that the organization isn?t bending over backwards to help him catch on with a new team.

According to Yahoo! Sports? Adrian Wojnarowski, the Washington Wizards have inquired about a possible sign-and-trade for Blair?s services, but have yet to work out an arrangement to bring in the former second-round selection.

Wojnarowski noted that the Spurs have expressed a willingness to help Blair, but may not be intrigued by any of the Wizards? assets. If the two parties don?t reach an agreement, the best that Washington can offer Blair is the veteran?s minimum.

The 6?7? forward appeared in just 61 games last season and averaged just 14 minutes per contest. Blair has been phased out of coach Gregg Popovich?s rotation and a change of scenery would do him good.

It?ll certainly be interesting to see what happens if the Wizards don?t increase their offer for the former Pittsburgh star.

?

Celtics Dumping Veterans

The Celtics shipped superstars Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to the Brooklyn Nets during the 2013 NBA draft, receiving a handful of promising players, draft picks and expiring contracts in return.

Now the team is looking to further increase its stockpile of assets by dumping the contracts of Kris Humphries and Gerald Wallace?two of the veteran talents it received in the blockbuster deal.

Will anyone take Wallace's contract?

    Will anyone take Wallace's contract?

  • Are you kidding? No way.

  • Maybe, but it's going to be costly.

  • Yes, Ainge will dump it on some poor GM.

According to A. Sherrod Blakely of CSNNE.com, the C?s are exploring their options to trade away Humphries? one-year, $12 million and Wallace?s three-year, $30-plus million contracts.

It may be easier to find a taker for Humphries? expiring deal, but Wallace has one of the worst contracts in the league and the Celtics may be saddled with it for some time.

This is a situation to monitor over the rest of the summer, as Ainge?s brilliance will be tested and proven if he can find a way to dump Wallace prior to the 2013-14 tip.

ESPN's 'College GameDay' May Feature President Barack Obama and Tiger Woods

President Barack Obama may be coming to ESPN's College GameDay.

Sports Illustrated's Richard Deitsch reports on the latest programming news from around the sports world, most notably the cameos expected for one highly popular college football show:

ESPN Senior Coordinating Producer Lee Fitting told SI.com this week that representatives from both the White House and (Tiger) Woods have reached out to express interest in appearing on the show.

As Deitsch notes, the show that previews and debates the day's complement of football games has had a bevy of high-profile stars stop by to laugh it up and offer opinions.

Still, there is nobody bigger than President Obama, and Woods continues to be one of the most recognizable faces in any sport. Nabbing both for a brief stint on some Saturday would be huge for the already very popular show.

Not that this is the only news surrounding GameDay. Fitting remarked on his?expectations?moving forward:

I want more opinion. I don't want screaming. I don't want yelling. I don't want slamming the desk. That's not what our show is about. But I do want people to take a side and be passionate about it. Now, our guys on set already have good opinions. This isn't an overhaul of the show. We just want to keep strong opinions coming.

The thought of a change of any sort should be met with some?reservations,?especially when there is a renewed emphasis on opinions.

The fear is the show could evolve into the second coming of First Take,?the debate show featuring two screaming heads in Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith. It should be noted, though, that any scaling back of "screaming" and "yelling" can be seen as a good sign.

It sounds like any change in the show and how it offers football opinions would be minor. In a sense, you will still get a great deal of Lee Corso mania.

Speaking of which, Deitsch concludes his interview by allowing Fitting some thoughts on the inevitable departure of the show's most colorful character:

He has done more for the sport of college football over the last 20 years than almost anyone, and the beauty of Coach is you see him once a week for two hours. ... I think about it from time to time, but he is irreplaceable. Someone will take his seat but you are not going to replace Lee Corso. Just even to think about it gets me bothered.

It's time to savor a good thing while you have it, college football fans. Corso is signed through the 2013-2014 season, so don't miss a moment.

It's almost fitting the show would procure some of its biggest guests as its greatest contributor presumably inches closer to his departure.

Lincecum throws 1st no-hitter, beating SD 9-0

(AP) ? Tim Lincecum pitched his first career no-hitter and the second in the majors in 11 days, a gem saved by a spectacular diving catch by right fielder Hunter Pence in the San Francisco Giants' 9-0 win over the last-place San Diego Padres on Saturday night.

The two-time Cy Young Award winner in a season-long funk was the loser when Cincinnati's Homer Bailey no-hit the Giants on July 2, threw a whopping 148 pitches.

Lincecum (5-9) was in control from the start Saturday, striking out 13. He walked four and hit a batter.

Still, he needed some help to preserve his no-no. Pence caught Alexi Amarista's sinking liner with a full dive to end the eighth. The Freak pumped his fist as Pence jumped up with the ball in his glove. Amarista put his hands to his helmet and pulled it off in disgust.

"I thought for sure it was a hit," Lincecum said. "You see Hunter flying out of nowhere making the flying grab. That was really impressive a big play for us."

Pablo Sandoval did his part, too, when he made a nice backhanded play on pinch-hitter Jesus Guzman's grounder deep behind third base and threw him out for the third out of the seventh.

Lincecum had been struggling coming in, losing his previous four decisions and hadn't won since June 4 against Toronto. He hadn't won on the road since April 3 at the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Then again, he'd gotten only 12 runs of support in his last 10 starts.

The Padres remain the only team without a no-hitter.
